| A '''Moving Tree''' is an obstacle encountered in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 7]]''. In both games, Moving Trees appear on the [[Luigi's Mansion (course)|Luigi's Mansion]] course. Any driver that collides with a Moving Tree whilst racing is stopped as if they had collided with a wall, as opposed to spinning out. Unlike most objects that make an appearance on the course, Moving Trees did not appear in the actual game ''[[Luigi's Mansion]]''.
