Porcupo made only one small appearance in ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'', with one appearing in the episode "[[On Her Majesty's Sewer Service / 9001: A Mario Odyssey]]" as the pet of [[Bowser|Koopfinger]]. Porcupo are purple hedgehog-like creatures found in Super Mario Bros. 2. They pace back and forth and are usually in groups of around two or more. To defeat a Porcupo a player must throw objects at a Porcupo.

Trivia

  • In the original Super Mario Bros. 2 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, Porcupo were colored black, although this was most likely due to the coloring limitations of the Nintendo Entertainment System, as official artwork still depicted Porcupos as purple.
