The Co-Star Super Jump is a jump that Mario or Luigi can perform in Super Mario Galaxy, though only during Co-Star Mode. To perform this jump, the player needs to make Mario or Luigi jump, and then, a second player needs to press the 
button at the same time. The jump will make Mario go higher than normal, allowing him to reach items such as Launch Stars and Sling Stars. If it's done at the wrong time, Mario will just jump normally. Mario cannot perform this move in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Mario can still control the direction of his jump when performing this move. When Mario performs this move, he looks similar to when Cloud Mario is making a cloud in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
