Mega Board Mayhem is an optional kind of board available in the extra room in Mario Party 4. It is set easier than normal boards. There are no stars to collect on the board, no special events, and no minigames each round. The goal is to get as many coins as possible. To do that, there are many item spaces and shops around, where the players can get Mega Mushrooms, Super Mega Mushrooms or other items to steal coins from other players.
