Treadmill is the first minigame in Mario Power Tennis for the Game Boy Advance. This minigame helps Max or Tina build up speed. Speed will benefit them for their Power Shot. The control for jumping is the A Button button and to run faster, the player must press the B Button button. The player will run on a treadmill and be informed of any change. An arrow pointing up will be on a screen if the treadmill is about to move up. An arrow pointing down indicates the treadmill is about to move down. There is a caution sign if an item, such as a banana or a barrel is about to come on the treadmill. If the player completes the task, they will be able to upgrade their Power Shot.
