Yellow Toad appears in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury as a playable character in the Captain Toad's Adventures levels, when playing in multiplayer mode. He has the same appearance as in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. He also appears in the Bowser's Fury mode, though not before the main story has been completed. Along with the other members of the Toad Brigade, he appears to have been separated from Toadette, who anticipates them on Fur Step Island. Mario may find Yellow Toad hidden below the bridge supporting Slipskate Slope, reaching by simply hopping off the bridge, alleviated with the use of a Propeller Box. Confronting Yellow Toad rewards Mario with one of Lake Lapcat's Cat Shines. As with his rarer though more recent appearances, he appears alert with no symptoms of grogginess. | Yellow Toad appears in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury as a playable character in the Captain Toad's Adventures levels, when playing in multiplayer mode.
