The stage starts with Mario near a ladder leading up to the higher platform with a Faiachū, but Mario cannot reach the next platform, so he needs to activate the ladder and quickly climb it to reach the next platform with a 1 UP Heart. He then needs to activate the next ladder to climb down with another Faiachū. Mario must then activate the road and connect the ladder to the road to get up high enough to reach the final platform with the key and door, ending the level.
