'''Rolling Hills''' is the first world of ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars]]''. The background of this world is a grassy plain with colorful hills, similar to those seen in the first worlds in the ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]'' games. It introduces the first mechanic in the game, [[Red Girder]]s. The only Minis that appear in this world are [[Mini Mario (toy)|Mini Marios]] and [[Mini Peach|Mini Peaches]]; Mini Marios debut in [[Level 1-1 (Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars)|Level 1-1]], while Mini Peaches debut in [[Level 1-4 (Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars)|Level 1-4]]. Only one [[Shy Guy]] and two [[Circus Kong]]s can be encountered throughout Rolling Hills, as well as one [[Cursed Mini Mario]] in Level 1-8.

This world is very similar to [[Coaster Hills]] in ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!]]'', as both worlds feature an arrangement of the ''[[Super Mario Bros. 2]]'' "[[Ground Theme (Super Mario Bros. 2)|Ground Theme]]", both end with ''Hills'', both are grassland-themed, and both introduce two new Minis (Mini Mario and [[Mini Toad|one]] [[Mini Peach|other]] Mini toy introduced in the first Multi-Door level of their [[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!|respective]] [[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars|games]]).

There are two [[Bonus Levels]] that are set in this world, [[Level B-1|B-1]] and [[Level B-2|B-2]].
