Whoever lands on a space containing this capsule gets chewed up by a [[Piranha Plant]] and spat out, causing them to lose half their coins. If the player has odd number of coins, they lose the smaller portion. In ''[[Mario Party 6]]'' and ''[[Mario Party 7]]'', it becomes the '''Piranha Plant Orb''' that players can only place on a space; it costs fifteen coins at the [[Orb Shop]]. Opponents that land on a space containing the [[Orb]] are still eaten by a Piranha Plant and lose half their coins, which are now transferred to the space's owner.
