'''Pickups''' are a type of collectible in ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!]]'' and ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars]]''. They appear as small pieces of materials such as [[Red Girder|girders]], [[Purple Conveyor|conveyors]], [[Blue Ladder|ladders]], and [[Blue Lift|lifts]]. Pickups are semi-common, but they are vital to complete levels. When a certain kind of pickup is collected, the number of resource materials represented by them increases by one, allowing the player to build longer pathways for the [[Mini Mario (toy)|Mini Marios]] and the other Mini Toys. There are also larger forms of these pickups that give the player up to five resources, although they are less common.

Additionally, pickups can be used for custom levels in the Construction Zone mode of ''Mini-Land Mayhem!'', after they are unlocked by completing the worlds each type first appears in. They are also available from the start in the Workshop mode of ''Tipping Stars''. However, the amount of pickups that can be used at a time in both editor modes is limited. In ''Mini-Land Mayhem!'', small pickups can be placed around the level fifteen times, while large ones can only be placed in them ten times. In ''Tipping Stars'', the player can place up to sixty small pickups and nineteen large pickups.
