Mini-Z-Yuxes are animate beings that protect the Z-Yux that appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They are very weak, but can reproduce themselves by one per turn. All of them must be destroyed to damage the Z-Yux.

Unusually, Mini-Z-Yuxes can be left in battle even when the Z-Yux they support is defeated. This can be accomplished by burning the Z-Yux, which will still cause damage even with the Mini-Z-Yuxes' barrier around it. If left in battle like this, Mini-Z-Yuxes are unable to reproduce or take any other kind of action on their own, but they still must be defeated to end the battle (and destroy the barrier, which remains without the Z-Yux inside).
