'''Badges''' are a collectible item that appears in the [[Nintendo 3DS]] version of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Nintendo 3DS)|Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]''. Most of the badges can be obtained by using Tickets to spin the badge machine, though others require other in-game criteria to be filled, such as wining gold medals in [[Event]]s and reaching certain milestones in the Story Mode. The player can earn duplicate badges from the badge machine, with the number of each collected shown when viewing the badges, though the criteria-based ones can only be obtained once. The player can set any badge from their collection on their profile.
