'''Grant Kirkhope''' (born 10 July 1962) is a British video game composer, film composer and voice actor who has worked on video games since 1995 and is known for his compositions for games by [[Rare Ltd.|Rare]], like the [[wikipedia:Banjo-Kazooie (series)|''Banjo-Kazooie'' series]]. He has provided voice lines for [[Donkey Kong]] in a few games.

He is also known for writing the [[DK Rap]] featured in ''[[Donkey Kong 64]]'', which became famous as an [[List of references on the Internet#DK Rap|internet meme]]. The song went on to be arranged for the [[Super Smash Bros. (series)|''Super Smash Bros.'' series]] and ''[[Donkey Konga]]'', and was featured briefly in ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Movie]]''.
