Battle Course 1 is a square-shaped course without a layout very similar to that of [[SNES Battle Course 4|Battle Course 4]], but smaller. It features several paths separated by walls of four different colors, one in each corner of the map. There are also multicolored walls surrounding the entire track. It has an open space in the middle, including a square sandy area which can slow down players.
