Cream also appears as one of the scorekeepers of the ''Festival Mode'' along with [[Toad]]. In this mode, she and Toad serve as the main hosts and announce the day's events; they can be seen cheering for the player throughout.

In the [[Nintendo DS]] version of the game, Cream appears in the story mode beside a locked chest. After some recommendation of talking to her by Toad, [[Mario]] and [[Sonic]] can speak to her and obtain a new type of gear from opening the chest she was struggling with. Due to her polite nature, she is content with giving the obtained item to Mario and Sonic for their adventure. In the ending, an unlockable photo of her alongside Toad and many of the other hosts can be obtained.

She also appears as a character that can be spoken to in London Party mode in order to play various minigames and earn stickers. A suit based on her can be unlocked and be worn by the player's [[Mii]], and Cream will also occasionally send the player mail.

In the [[Nintendo 3DS]] [[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Nintendo 3DS)|version]], Cream appears in the Story Mode episode [[A Rainbow In Fog]], where she and Cheese are attacked by a group of [[imposter]]s and are saved by Mario, [[Luigi]], Toad, Sonic, [[Tails]] and [[Omochao]], who explain to them what is happening before defeating the imposters. After the imposters are defeated, Cream thanks the group for their help and decide to stay behind at the [[Main Stadium]], with Cream later appearing at the opening ceremony.
