In this event, the player starts by swinging the GamePad or Wii Remote down when "Go!" appears onscreen, and can charge up beforehand by holding {{button|wiiu|ZL}} and {{button|wiiu|ZR}} or {{button|wii|B}}. Swinging down with perfect timing will allow the player to perform a faster start, though swinging down too soon will cause the player to perform a delayed start. Once the event has started, the player can steer their sled by tilting the controller left ad right, and can brake by pressing {{button|wiiu|B}} or {{button|wii|1}}. The course features ramps that the player can perform jumps from by swinging the controller upwards at the end of the ramp, with more air time granted for swinging closer to the end of the ramp. The course also features rocket orbs, which the player can collect to fill their rocket boost gauge. Once it is full, the player can press {{button|wiiu|ZL}} and {{button|wiiu|ZR}} or {{button|wii|2}} to receive a boost of speed for a short time, allowing them to additionally perform longer jumps, destroy obstacles and pass over usually slowing terrain at usual speed. The player can also gain smaller speed boosts by passing over [[Dash Panel (Sonic the Hedgehog)|Dash Panels]] and by passing through rings in the air that also increase air time. The course also features several obstacles in the form of rough terrain that slows the sleds down, gingerbread men that slightly reduce the player's speed but are destroyed on impact and cannons that shoot candy boulders which cause players to spin out if they are hit. The team that completes two laps of the course in the fastest time wins.
