The '''Bangkok Tour''' was the seventy-third tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on June 29, 2022 and ended on July 12, 2022. As the name indicates, the tour introduced a [[new course]] based in {{wp|Bangkok}}, {{wp|Thailand}} called [[Tour Bangkok Rush|Bangkok Rush]] (making this the second tour in a row to introduce a new city course), and it also featured the debut of a variant of [[Princess Daisy|Daisy]] in a traditional {{wp|sbai}}. The menu's background featured the {{wp|Grand Palace}}, the {{wp|Wat Arun}}, and several smaller buildings from Bangkok Rush as the landmarks of this tour.

Continuing from the [[Metropolitan Tour|previous tour]], the Metropolitan Fest event concluded in this tour. Similar to the [[New Year's 2022 Tour]], every day of this tour featured either the Coins Aplenty or Tokens Aplenty event, with Tokens Aplenty taking place on July 1, 2022 (Friday) and July 7, 2022 (Thursday), and Coins Aplenty being held on all other days, gradually upgrading over time and allowing players to receive over 20,000 coins by participating every day. For the first time, the tour's [[#Token Shop|Token Shop]] did not include any drivers or karts, instead featuring three gold pipes.

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] took place on Bangkok Rush. Similarly to the [[Yoshi Tour (2022)|2022 Yoshi Tour]], this tour featured a pipe that could only be fired up to 10 times and could not be reset, known as the Gold Karts and Gliders Pipe, which contained 10 golden karts and gliders, including the new [[Gold Zucchini]].

The tenth set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour|Expert Challenges]] was made available at the start of this tour, which then ended on the [[Mario vs. Luigi Tour (2022)|2022 Mario vs. Luigi Tour]].

Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[SNES Choco Island 1]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Chain Chomp Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
