The glider is a recreation of the [[Super Star]]'s sprite from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' with an 8-bit connecting pole, much like the [[8-Bit Jumping Mario]], [[8-Bit Jumping Luigi]], [[8-Bit Fire Flower]], [[8-Bit Bullet Bill]], and [[8-Bit Super Mushroom]]. As evidenced by its French, Spanish, and Portuguese names, it also looks similar to the [[Starchute]]. Striking other drivers with [[Lightning]] grants more points than usual when using this glider. | ||
