Toadsworth is the caretaker/steward of Princess Peach and has been since she was an infant.
Toadsworth was first seen in Super Mario Sunshine accompanying Mario and Peach to Isle Delfino, and would talk to Mario throughout the game. Toadsworth has since appeared in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door with a cameo driving the parade car during the award ceremony in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Toadsworth finally became playable in Mario Superstar Baseball.
Toadsworth appeared again in the two Mario and Luigi games.
