To unlock this stage, the player must have collected at least 12 Super Gems. Captain Toad must climb to the top while avoiding Draggadon's fire and the slowly rising lava. When he reaches the top, the platform with the Power Star falls onto the dragon, putting it unconscious, allowing Captain Toad to take the Power Star from atop its head.
Collectables
Super Gems
- Super Gem 1: If the player goes right when starting the level and then climbs up the small stairs in front of the shield, they will find the first diamond.
- Super Gem 2: By riding the moving ladder by the mushroom, the player can grab the second diamond.
- Super Gem 3: Found by plucking one of the flowers near the top of the course.
