Template:Species-infobox Powan[1] is the name given to a ghost enemy that appears in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber. Powan resemble generic ghosts, with their faces consisting of two big empty eyes and a tiny mouth, followed by a chubby body overall, short hands, and a regular phantom tail; they also have a pointy top on their heads.

Description

In DK: King of Swing, they haunt the Ship of Souls in the Aqua World, and also appear in Spooky Woods. Powan float around a set area until they detect Donkey Kong, at which point they will start approaching him, fading back in and damaging DK once they are on top of him. However, they also go invisible before attacking DK, allowing him to pass through the Powan without damaging himself. Powans are also vulnerable in their visible state, and can be defeated with a charge.
