A Cat o' 9 tails[1] (also spelled Cat-O'-9-Tails[2][3]) is a blue cat with many tails and an enemy which only appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Its name is derived from the whip called "cat o' nine tails," although Cat o' 9 tails only appears to have seven tails.
