Arrow fields are a course feature in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, introduced in the Booster Course Pass. They are holographic, scrolling chevron arrows that extend over the exits of junctions in the track. Attempting to drive past one will cause Lakitu to pick the player up, similarly to falling into a pit, or going out-of-bounds. Arrow fields are distinguished from simple physical barriers by the fact that they are in different locations on each lap, changing the route of the course with each lap. Most courses have red arrow fields, but N64 Kalimari Desert's arrow fields are blue.

Courses with arrow fields

Currently, all courses with arrow fields are courses that had multiple routes in Mario Kart Tour.
