Peach Rink is a stadium in the upcoming Wii game, Mario Super Sluggers. It takes place in an ice rink covered in freezies, which act as stage hazards. The players do not however slip or slide on the Ice. Its location is on baseball island and it is owned by Princess Peach. It is playable both day and night.

Description

Peach Rink as it appears in the nighttime.

On both sides of the rink are two huge Mushroom towers. Star-shaped decorations adorn the stadium; golden stars also decorate its stained-glassed roof. In addition, there are stain-glass windows similar to the fresco at Princess Peach Castle. Towards the back of the field is a huge golden stage with a massive blue screen showing a depiction of Peach’s Castle. Palm branches on the wall encircle the Rink from above and a garden can be seen in the hallway that surrounds the field. The garden is separated by an elevated wall. Behind where the batter stands is a stair well covered with red carpet. Where the two stair wells meet is a huge golden statue of Peach. The spectators are all Toads who watch from elevated seating sections.

Hazards

Touching one of the Freezies will freeze players for a short time. In nighttime, if the ball touches one of the snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, the stadium will be pitch dark and the spotlights will only shine on the players. Shortly after, a spotlight will shine on the ball and after a short period of time, the room will be back to normal.
