DS Mario Circuit's Tour BGM : remix or higher quality ?

When listening to the Mario Circuit BGM in the Mario Tour trailer, it felt like it was a new arrangement but I noticed some instruments are the same as in MKDS but in higher quality. If we look back at GBA Sky Garden, the Tour BGM also uses the same instruments as the Super Circuit BGM, but in even higher quality. Should we consider DS Mario Circuit music in Mario Kart Tour as a new arrangement ? Or being the same as the original ? --Taupe (talk) 7:12, March 3, 2023 (UTC)

I dont think it counts as a full "remix" just the original song in higher quality, and sky garden was not the original with higher quality if you actually compare them --Biggestman (talk) 18:21, March 3, 2023 (EST)

To be fair, I agree with what RealStuffMister has said. One thing I would like to note is that it would still be better to put both versions in the page. Even if they almost sound the same, we can still hear the difference. DS Peach Gardens in Mario Kart Wii sounds exactly the same as Mario Kart DS, but we can hear that the quality is slightly higher (unlike the other DS courses in Wii which use their original arrangement from DS as there are no differences). --Taupe (talk) 20:29, March 5, 2023 (UTC)
