“More bouncy! More bouncy, Uncle Luigi!”
Baby Peach, Two Plumbers and a Baby

Baby Peach is Princess Peach as a baby. She is best friends with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. She's been shown to be a temperamental but cheerful baby. She's also played the role of damsel in distress. Baby Peach's first playable appearance was in Yoshi's Island DS. More recently she has been appearing in Wii games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii.

Princess in the Making

She made her first appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Two Plumbers and a Baby" when Princess Toadstool fell into the Fountain of Youth and was turned into a baby. Toadstool became herself again when Mario and Luigi reversed the flow of the Fountain of Youth with plumbing.

Her first game appearance is Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. She lived in the Peach's Castle of the past and is served by Young Toadsworth. During the game she cried almost always, unless Young Toadsworth entertained her. Later, she went to the present with Young Toadsworth, and the present Toadsworth and younger one entertained her (with reluctant help from the older Toadsworth).

She doesn't have a big role in the game; however, in the beginning, Baby Bowser tried to kidnap her. Also, the Toadsworths practice their moves on Baby Peach to entertain her, and these moves are moves the Mario brothers later learn.

Baby Peach later appeared in Yoshi's Island DS along with other babies like Baby Mario and Baby Donkey Kong. Baby Peach can flutter longer and pick up air currents and ride them, both with help from her pink parasol. She enters the game in Level 1-5, and is the only baby besides Baby Mario who was saved by the Stork from the initial kidnapping.

Baby on Wii

Baby Peach appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a trophy-this marks the first appearance of Baby Peach in 3D in any kind of media. She sported a new outfit previously unseen.

In Mario Kart Wii, Baby Peach will be a playable character, with the same appearance as the trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. One of her karts will be a pink Cheep-Cheep (pictured).

Character Description

Baby Peach has short-blonde hair, large blue eyes, and rosy cheeks. Her huge crown has rubies and sapphires embedded in it; also she sucks on a pink pacifer. More recently her outfit is based off her future adult outfit. Along with the dress she wears white stockings and dark pink shoes.

Baby Peach is presumed to be younger than Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. She is also very temperamental, and cries often. However, she contains a good heart and perhaps even a logical mind, as she indirectly saved the older Mario brothers from the Shroobs by crying until Baby Bowser saved them in Partners in Time (which Toadsworth the Younger even thought of as being distressed and disapproving their situation). Baby Peach likes it when Toadsworth acts silly for her. She may also enjoy flight, as she enjoyed it when the adult Mario and Luigi accidentally made her carriage float upward. This is also supported by the fact that her special ability in Yoshi's Island DS is carrying herself and Yoshi into the air, as mentioned about earlier.

Trophy Information from Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Princess Peach as a baby with a pink pacifier. Even though she's an infant, she wears her crown with all the charm and elegance you would expect from a princess. In Yoshi's Island DS, she rode out for adventure just like Baby Mario--on Yoshi's back. While riding Yoshi, she can use her parasol to extend their hang time.
