Kerpops[1] are enemies from Super Mario Bros. Wonder that are introduced in the level Hot-Hot Hot! They are sentient popcorn kernels that, in their default state, act the same as a Goomba, walking aimlessly from side to side. When touching anything hot, namely fireballs and Hot-Hot Rocks, they pop and start bouncing on the ground while moving in a certain direction. Like many other enemies, they hurt the player from the side and below but can be defeated by a simple stomp or an attack from various power-ups.

When they pop, they emit a savory aroma.[1] Their name is an onomatopoeia for popping, as well as a combination of "kernel" and "popcorn".
