Two Porcupo.

Porcupo are purple hedgehog-like creatures found uncommonly in Super Mario Bros. 2. They pace back and forth and are usually in groups of around two or more. To defeat a Porcupo, a player must throw objects at the Porcupo, such as other enemies.

Trivia

  • In the original Super Mario Bros. 2 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, Porcupo were colored black, although this was most likely due to the coloring limitations of the Nintendo Entertainment System, as official artwork still depicted Porcupos as purple.
