Return of Donkey Kong was a game announced for the NES in the Official Nintendo Player's Guide in 1987. Not much information is known about the title. Some believe that is a scrapped sequel to the original Donkey Kong, a precursor to the later Game Boy remake of Donkey Kong. Another possibility is that its an earlier name for Donkey Kong Classics, a two-in-one cartridge containing Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr..
