Throwing Balloons is a Mini Battle from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. In it, a Yoshi has a contest with a Bandit to see who can win a crossover between Hot Potato and Simon Says, tossing a slowly expanding balloon back in forth until it pops on the loser. The player must push the right buttons to throw the balloon back to the Bandit and he will do the same. There are two modes, the four-button mode, and the challenging six-button mode. Also, if the player accesses the Mini Battle menu from the World Map, they can play a multiplayer version of the game, in which the second player will control the Bandit.
