Unlike its previous appearance in ''[[Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest]]'', Krocodile Kore takes place inside a generic volcanic region, reminiscent of the lava stages of [[Krem Cauldron]].
Krocodile Kore takes place at a volcanic area. In the battle, K. Rool fires out many regular and spiked [[Cannonball|kannonball]]s, sometimes at the same time. After the onslaught, K. Rool launches out a [[barrel]] with a kannonball inside. The active [[Kong]] must get the kannonball and throw it into K. Rool's [[blunderbuss]]. It takes only a single hit to defeat K. Rool, and after doing so, the Kongs are rewarded with a [[DK Coin|Video Game Hero Coin]].
