Super Star: Difference between revisions

Starmen made their debut in the game ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'', first found in [[World 1-1 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 1-1]]. It is a very rare item, only found in some levels. When [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] gets it, they will turn invincible, allowing them to destroy enemies and go through hazards without getting hurt (though they will still lose a life if they fall in a [[pit]] or run out of time). However, the star's power is only temporary, and it will disappear after a certain amount of time. Invincibility is indicated by Mario's flashing sprites and the Starman theme which replaces the current soundtrack. This is the first ''Super Mario'' power-up to have eyes. Most commonly, they will be hidden in blocks surrounded by others so they aren’t easy to find.
