The November 2009 tournament 1 took place in Dry Dry Ruins. It was a VS Race, in which all Item Boxes contained Mushroom items; Mushrooms, [[Triple Mushroom]]s, Golden Mushrooms, and Mega Mushrooms. Also, some Pokeys were added on some of the usable shortcuts.
