Ceiling Needles in Mario Kart Tour
Shuriken ceiling

Shuriken ceilings are obstacles in the Ninja Hideaway course of Mario Kart Tour and the Booster Course Pass DLC in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. They are broad ceilings lined with large shuriken. They rise and lower at set intervals, sticking their shuriken into the floor below at their lowest point. If run into, the shuriken cause drivers who are not in a powered-up state to spin out. Shuriken ceilings cannot be taken out, but racers can land and drive on top of them from the track's upper level.
