Like regular Snaggles, they leap out of the water at regular intervals, but will follow with a quick additional leap without signalling it. They appear in the [[Beach]] world and in some other levels, including [[Damp Dungeon]]. They can only be defeated with a [[barrel]]. If the [[Kong]]s come into contact with a Yellow Snaggles, they lose a heart from their health meter. Yellow Snaggles make dog noises when they jump out of the water, just like their relatives.
