The '''Pinch Hitter''' is a High-End [[kart]] in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. It is the signature kart of [[Mario|Mario (Baseball)]] debuting in the [[Los Angeles Tour (2021)|2021 Los Angeles Tour]]. The kart is a small buggy with a hood resembling a baseball helmet, a seat resembling a baseball glove, and exhaust pipes resembling baseball bats. It uses white-rimmed versions of the [[Standard (tire)|Standard]] tires from ''[[Mario Kart 8]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'', and the emblem appears at the front on the kart. The Pinch Hitter increases the duration of [[Slipstream]] boosts and the amount of points awarded for performing Slipstreams. A white variant called the [[Cleanup Hitter]] also appears, and like the Pinch Hitter, it has the High-End classification.
