Idols of Recoil are obstacles that appear in the Donkey Kong Adventure mode of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. They are obstacles that act on their own turn, during the transition between the heroes' and the enemies' own turns; on their turn, they move to the closest character from their position, Bouncing them. Unlike Chain Chomps from the main game, Idols of Recoil do not simply lunge at characters, instead invoking normal movement to attack. Once a level's objective is cleared, the Idols of Recoil will "deem the heroes worthy" (according to Beep-0) and stop attacking.

The Idol of Recoil also has a fiery counterpart known as the Idol of Fire.
