If they catch sight of Wario, they will throw spiky balls which explode shortly after hitting the ground. Some Chippies hide in trees not far from the ground. If Wario approaches, they will jump out and float to the ground upon a large leaf, holding a shield covered in spikes. After landing, the Chippy will attempt to ram Wario with the shield.
