Rising Piranhas, or Rock-Candy Mines-5, is the fifth level of Rock-Candy Mines in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked when Light-Up Lift Tower is completed, and its completion unlocks Sumo Bro's Spinning Tower.
Layout
The level starts in a mountainous area with Stalking Piranha Plants and Koopa Troopas. Following the mountain area is a series of rapidly moving platforms that take the player to the next area. This area is filled with more moving platforms, several enemies, and the Goal Pole at the end.
Secret Exit
The player needs to jump on one of the rapidly moving platforms and then jump up to find the area with the secret exit and the Goal Pole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: On the track with a platform on it.
- Star Coin 2: Hidden by a rock, the player needs to enter a crevice to find it.
- Star Coin 3: Beside a Piranhacus Giganticus.
