The '''Yoshi Tour''' was the ninety-third tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on April 5, 2023 and ended on April 18, 2023. It was rerun from April 3, 2024 to April 16, 2024 as the game's hundred-and-nineteenth tour.

The tour added [[Yoshi's Island (race course)|Yoshi's Island]], which first appeared in Wave 4 of the ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass]]'', and [[GBA Yoshi Desert|Yoshi Desert]], returning from ''[[Mario Kart: Super Circuit]]'' for the first time as a classic course; the R/T variant of [[N64 Yoshi Valley]] was also introduced. In addition to the Yoshi's Island course being themed around ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'', many other [[Yoshi (franchise)|''Yoshi''-franchise]] items were also introduced in this tour, including [[Poochy]]'s first playable appearance in the [[Mario Kart (series)|''Mario Kart'' series]] and a [[Yoshi Cookie]]-themed glider. During this tour, some courses featured [[spring egg]]s, which gave bonus points and [[event token]]s when interacted with.

The introduction of Poochy makes this the first tour since the [[Piranha Plant Tour]] to introduce a brand new driver, as well as the first tour since the [[Los Angeles Tour (2022)|2022 Los Angeles Tour]] over a year prior to introduce a new character to the ''[[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]]'' series. This is the first tour since the [[Super Mario Kart Tour]] to include different ending music after the trailer's music, which is an arrangement of the "Goal & Score" fanfare from ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'', which serves as the goal and results theme for the Yoshi's Island track. This was also the first tour since the [[Sundae Tour (2022)|2022 Sundae Tour]], 17 tours prior, to not introduce any new gold item. Excluding tours that introduce re-routes of courses, this was the first tour to introduce both a new course and a classic course since the [[Paris Tour (2019)|2019 Paris Tour]], and was also the first tour overall to introduce a new course, a classic course, and an R/T variant simultaneously. This was also the first tour since the [[Animal Tour]] ten tours prior to feature the [[Snap a Photo]] bonus challenge.

The Spring Celebration event that began in the [[Ninja Tour (2023)|previous tour]] continued through this tour. The thirteenth set of [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Expert Challenges|Expert Challenges]] began in this tour, which then ended on the [[Mario vs. Luigi Tour (2023)|2023 Mario vs. Luigi Tour]]. [[List of challenge cards in Mario Kart Tour#Extreme Challenges|Extreme Challenges]] also debuted in this tour.

This was the tenth tour in a row to share the same name as a previous tour.

The rerun of this tour was the first Yoshi Tour not to run through Easter.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a balloon battle in [[DS Twilight House]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using the [[Mii|Yoshi Mii Racing Suit]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
