The Turbo Yoshi returns in Mario Kart Tour, being classified as a Super kart. Unlike before, the kart no longer has another handlebar, the handlebar joints have been moved to the back to make room for the driver's emblem, and the rear of the kart curls upward slightly to resemble Yoshi's tail, replacing the platform. The now unusable platform is still behind the seat, which has been made bigger. It uses a black version of its original tires. The Turbo Yoshi provides longer Jump Boost speed boosts while increasing the number of points earned for performing Jump Boosts.

Unlike before, the kart no longer has another handlebar, and the handlebar joints have been moved to the back to make room for the driver's emblem. Instead of a small platform for a second person to stand on, the rear of the kart curls upward slightly to resemble Yoshi's tail. The now unusable platform is still behind the seat, which has been made bigger. It uses a black version of its original tires. The Turbo Yoshi provides longer Jump Boost speed boosts while increasing the number of points earned for performing Jump Boosts.

The game introduces red, blue, white, black, orange, pink, light-blue, and yellow variants named the Red Turbo Yoshi, Blue Turbo Yoshi, White Turbo Yoshi, Black Turbo Yoshi, Orange Turbo Yoshi, Pink Turbo Yoshi, Light-blue Turbo Yoshi, and Yellow Turbo Yoshi. Like the drivers they are based on, the red, blue, orange, pink, light-blue, and yellow ones are Super karts while the black and white ones are High-End karts.
