It introduced the R/T variants of multiple returning [[classic course]]s, namely [[GBA Sky Garden]], [[GBA Cheep-Cheep Island]], [[GBA Bowser's Castle 3]], [[GCN Baby Park]], [[Wii Koopa Cape]], and [[3DS Piranha Plant Slide]], making this the first tour since the [[Vancouver Tour]] seventy-five tours prior to introduce three or more R/T variants of returning courses, as well as the first tour since the [[Samurai Tour]] twenty tours prior to only introduce R/T variants and no brand new courses, and the first tour since the [[Toad vs. Toadette Tour]] thirty tours prior to only feature R/T variants (excluding the battle courses). [[Kadomatsu]] also returned from the previous [[New Year's Tour|New Year's-themed tours]], starting from January 1, 2023.
