The '''Mario Bros. Tour''' was the twelfth tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on February 26, 2020 and ended on March 10, 2020, coincidentally ending on [[Mario Day]]. It introduced a new Mario Circuit course, [[RMX Mario Circuit 1]], which introduces a [[Remix course|new type of course]] separate from the [[new course]]s and the [[classic course]]s, as well as variants of [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] in outfits based on their appearances and artwork for older games such as ''[[Donkey Kong (game)|Donkey Kong]]'' (for Mario) and ''[[Super Mario Bros. 2]]'', and similar to their appearances in the [[DIC Entertainment|DIC]] ''Super Mario'' cartoons. Additionally, for the first time, Mario, Luigi, and two Super karts called the [[Super 1]] and [[Dasher II]] were made available as the first Super spotlight items. This is also the first tour to have only 50 pipe pulls in a pipe rather than the usual 100. Despite the tour being themed around RMX Mario Circuit 1, [[3DS Mario Circuit]] acted as the tour's signature course. The menu's background featured the hills and the [[block]] formation from [[World 1-1 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 1-1]] as landmarks for this tour. This is the final tour to feature eighteen cups, as there have been only twelve from the [[Baby Rosalina Tour]] to the [[Anniversary Tour]]; starting from the [[Battle Tour]], sixty-eight tours later, there are fifteen. This was also the final tour to feature two [[Vs. Mega]] bonus challenges.
