The '''Kamek Tour''' was the fifty-first tour in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on August 25, 2021 and ended on September 7, 2021. As the tour's name indicates, [[Kamek]] was introduced as a playable driver after being previously cut from both ''[[List of Mario Kart 64 pre-release and unused content|Mario Kart 64]]'' and ''[[List of Mario Kart 8 pre-release and unused content|Mario Kart 8]]'', making this the first tour to introduce a completely new driver to the series since the introduction of [[King Bob-omb]] in the [[Pirate Tour]]. Like the [[Frost Tour|previous tour]], this tour introduced a new [[remix course]], this time based on the [[Ghost Valley]] tracks from ''[[Super Mario Kart]]'', named [[RMX Ghost Valley 1]]. The special [[#Special pipe|Bowser's Minions Pipe]] from the Pirate Tour returned in this tour, albeit with some different drivers and karts and gliders added.

This was the first tour to not contain any [[Mario Kart 7#New courses|3DS courses]], as well as the first to feature a cup that only contained [[Remix course|RMX courses]]; in this case, the [[Mario Cup]] and its [[Time Trial (Mario Kart Tour)|bonus challenge]]. This was also the first non-Halloween Tour to feature [[Vs. Mega]] [[King Boo|King Boo (Luigi's Mansion)]] in [[DS Luigi's Mansion]] as the last bonus challenge, as other Halloween Tours (excluding 2021) featured this bonus challenge last.

Only in this tour, the title screen image was changed to an image representing Team Peach's victory against Team Mario during the [[Mario vs. Peach Tour]].

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was [[GBA Bowser's Castle 2]], making this tour the second non-city tour in a row to not reuse a Coin Rush course. The menu's background featured mountains and clouds from the Ghost Valley courses as the landmark of this tour.

The [[Kamek Cup]] debuted in this tour (the first new cup since the [[Bowser vs. DK Tour]] eight tours prior), although Kamek was never made as a regular High-End driver until the [[Battle Tour]] twenty-nine tours later.

Starting from this tour, the [[Black Turbo Birdo]] is available in all regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favourite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[SNES Choco Island 2|SNES Choco Island 2R]] in the [[Ice Mario Cup]] using [[Bowser Jr.]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
