The hallway connects all the rooms on the floor. In the southwest side of the hallway is an area with a vending machine, a couple of chairs and tables, a couch, and a broken window. If Luigi uses his suction shot on the vending machine or the wooden boards on the window, he will be able to go to the Laundry Room or the 5F Exterior respectively. On the left side of the hallway leading to Room 504 is a tarpaulin which Luigi can suck up revealing the entrance to the Elevator Shaft.

There is another tarpaulin to the left of Room 508, sucking it up reveals a Gold Bar and a stack of Bills. To the right of Room 508, is a painting which Luigi can open up by using the Strobulb, inside there are a bunch of coins and gold bars.
