The '''Dash Ring''' is the [[Special Item (Mario Kart series)|special item]] of [[Ludwig von Koopa|Ludwig]], [[Rosalina]], [[Yoshi (species)|Blue Yoshi]], [[Birdo|Birdo (Blue)]], [[Shy Guy|Blue Shy Guy]], [[Rosalina|Rosalina (Halloween)]], [[Princess Peach|Peach (Wintertime)]], [[Baby Rosalina|Baby Rosalina (Detective)]], [[Mario|Mario (Swimwear)]], [[Penguin Mario|Penguin Toad]], [[Mario|Mario (Aviator)]], [[Toadette|Toadette (Astronaut)]], and the [[Mii|Rosalina, Dolphin, Reindeer, Roaring Racer, Blue and Ludwig Mii Racing Suits]] in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''. When used, it follows the track to produce three [[Ring (Mario Kart series)|ring]]s that the player and opponents can use to gain temporary speed boosts, similarly to [[Dash Panel]]s. The item can also pass by opponents to give them premature bursts of speed. When Dash Ring+ is active, two extra rings are tossed, allowing use for more speed.
